ESAB Introduces Caddy Mig® C200i Portable Welder

ESAB Welding & Cutting Products introduces the Caddy Mig C200i, an easy-to-use, powerful machine for MIG welding of mild steels, aluminum and stainless steel and for MIG brazing. Caddy Mig C200i is extremely portable, making it an excellent choice for repair, maintenance and assembly work.

Caddy Mig C200i features a lightweight, durable and impact-resistant housing and a built-in cable for easy transport. The machine weighs approximately 26 lb (12 kg), making Caddy Mig C200i the lightest welding unit in its output class. Caddy Mig C200i is also a powerful performer, with a power factor correction feature that provides 30% more welding power from the same size fuse as its competition and an efficient built-in inverter power source.

Caddy Mig C200i is equipped with ESAB’s QSet™ feature. With QSet, the operator sets only the plate thickness. QSet automatically sets all the welding parameters and automatically adjusts the parameters throughout the process to maintain the optimum wire/gas combination. This prevents waste of resources. Adjustments may also be made manually if the operator prefers, and fine-tuning can be accomplished with the heat adjustment knob. A single-phase input connection makes it easy to find an electrical source, and the machine performs equally well when powered by a portable generator.

Inside the Caddy Mig C200i’s side panel is a wire feeder that fits a wire spool with an inner diameter of 2 in. (51 mm), an external diameter of 8 in. (200 mm), and a width of 2.125 in. (55 mm). Caddy Mig C200i is optimized to perform for welding with .023 in., .030 in. and .035 in. solid or cored wires.

Caddy Mig C200i comes with a three-year warranty.
